We’re opening up again

Our Christmas Tree is up outside The Bell and the lights will be switched on when we re-open on Wednesday night!

After reviewing the new rules for Tier 2: High Alert, we have decided to open up and attempt as normal a run up to Christmas as we are allowed.
The format for opening night on Wednesday 2nd December has been changed to welcome all of our customers. For single households we have tables that may be booked inside the bar and the restaurant as well as in our heated area outside.
For those of you wanting to be with friends you can use the outside heated area where you can sit together as a table of 2 to 6 (or 6+ if in an official Bubble).
As well as our normal Eat In and Take Away Menu we also have the reasonably priced “Substantial SOS” ( Shenington Outside Special). This is for customers using our outside areas to meet for a drink with friends. This will be served to you as you sit at your table.
Be it to meet with family or friends we recommend that you make a booking to avoid disappointment.
Please read the salient points from the Government that we have attached. By law we have to operate under them. Please accept our apologies in advance if we have to remind you of these during your visit.
Hopefully Oxfordshire will drop down to Tier 1 at the next review and we will then be able offer our inside tables to groups of friends and not just households and their Bubbles.

Mikey is preparing the menu for Eat In, Take Away and SOS and we’ll get that out to you tomorrow.

Looking forward to welcoming you back!
The Team at The Bell.
